The club is saddened to learn Dave passed away in The Glenfield Hospital on Monday. He will be remembered as a true club supporter, player & committeeman for over 50 years.

He had several games for the 1st team but will be remembered for his role as a 2nd team captain for my years. During his time on the committee, he organised many social events, including darts tournaments & Long Alley Skittle evenings.

In the later years after playing Dave never missed a VP lunches, always taking the opportunity to socialise with his friends at the club. Outside of rugby he was an enthusiastic railway buff.
